With Nboujiw, embark on a 4x4 adventure in the heart of Tassili n'Ajjer and discover Iherir, a spectacular oasis nestled between towering cliffs and lush palm groves, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Programme : - Day 01: Departure from Algiers Airport and arrival in Djanet. Overnight stay in a desert bivouac. - Day 02: Breakfast, then departure towards the Taghen site to discover its prehistoric rock paintings. Lunch, followed by a drive to Aloukou. Dinner and overnight stay in a bivouac. - Day 03: Breakfast, then departure towards the Fadnon Plateau. Visit to the rock paintings of Tarzaroukou. Lunch, followed by a drive to the small Tuareg village of Ihrir. Arrival at the top of the Idran/Tasourt Canyon. Dinner and overnight stay in a traditional Tuareg guesthouse. - Day 04: Breakfast, followed by a walking hike along Oued Ihrir, surrounded by palm trees, abandoned houses, oleanders, and galtates (natural rock pools). Lunch along the way and overnight stay in a bivouac. - Day 05: Breakfast, then departure towards the vast desert plains of Dider, home to the magnificent engravings of Tin Tagharit. Lunch, followed by a drive towards Waghe Ghan and Tawajedit. Dinner and overnight stay in a bivouac. - Day 06: Breakfast, then departure towards Oued Essendilene. Lunch, followed by a hike in the area. Continue the journey towards Tikoubaouine. Dinner and overnight stay in a bivouac. - Day 07: Breakfast, then exploration of the Tikoubaouine site, featuring its impressive natural arch and prehistoric rock paintings. Lunch at Tilalen, followed by a departure towards Erg Admer. Visit to the local souk and the famous “Crying Cow” rock formation. Dinner and traditional musical evening. - Day 08: Transfer to the airport for the return flight to Algiers.
