THE ITINERARY Day 1: Departure from Algiers at 7:00 AM and drive to Boussaâda. Arrival and check-in at the guesthouse. Lunch, followed by a visit to the village of El Allig, known for its long history. Discover its natural spring and the ruins of an ancient ksar (fortified village). Depart with the guide to visit the Zaouïa of El Hamel and discover its history and religious heritage. Return to the guesthouse. Traditional dinner and overnight stay. Day 2 : Breakfast. Guided walking tour of Boussaâda city centre and the old town. Visit to the Nasreddine Dinet Museum to discover the artist’s work and life. Lunch. Departure by 4x4 vehicles towards the dunes. Settle in for a traditional gaâda (a gathering around tea) and enjoy a relaxing tea break. Enjoy the sunset over the dunes, weather permitting. Return to the guesthouse. Departure to the farm for dinner. Traditional dinner accompanied by live music. Return to the guesthouse for the overnight stay. Day 3 : Breakfast. Free morning to explore local handicrafts and shop for souvenirs. Optional visit to the House of Handicrafts.
